Water Well - Project idea:

The extent of the enormous destruction caused by the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which affected all aspects of life, most notably infrastructure, Street bulldozing and demolition of central wells can’t be unseen or ignored.

And due to that, our Gaza team who resides in (Northern of Gaza strip), has been working on finding solutions to help citizens and enhance their resilience, especially in the free delivery of well water, which is their only source of life right now.

Project objectives:

The wells digging will benefit a large group of people in the neighborhood “Martyrs of each camp” which is located in the northern of Gaza, as the northern region suffers from the lack of water.

Success factors:

  • The team that’s going to work on this project have had an experience working in a similar projects in a different regions.
  • The presence of competent technicians and engineers capable of implementing the project.
  • Several photos and videos are available documenting the success of thepast project Granular requirements and for the implementation of the project.

    • Assumptions:

  • The suffering of people due to lack of access to water.
  • The far distance of the existing wells.
  • The return of displaced citizens from the south of Gaza and the increased demand for services such as electricity and water

    • Project limitations:

  • Lack of funding.
  • The high cost technician services.
  • The lack of drilling rigs, as the process of digging wells now is done by hands.
  • The continuesinstability on the ground.

    • Project execution:

  • Finding the drilling well where population density is high.
  • Identifying a team that has experience in executing the project.

    • Initiating the project as soon as possible to sustain peoples lives and strengthening their resilience on their land.

    Financial Study: First: Financing the project

    The project will solely depends on the aid coming from charitable institutions and people willing to participate in this project.

    Second: Construction work to prepare the well.
